While this beast has many names, such as the Barghest, Loup Garou, and lycanthrope, the werewolf is the most recognizable name. The exact origins of the werewolf remains a mystery to this day, but we do know the myth stretches back thousands of years and is found in many different representations in numerous cultures all around the world. Some say it is divine punishment from god, turning man to beast for their sins, while others say it is an ancient gypsy curse, given to those who have done wrong.

Most of what you heard about werewolves is correct. They are immortal creatures that can only be truly killed using a silver dagger for decapitation; It is essential that the head is severed after its "death", otherwise, it will come back to life.
It changes form at the sight of the full moon, while during the day, they are completely normal. This makes them difficult to track; in fact, most of the cursed do not even know they are cursed, the only clues being violent dreams and the smell of blood.
